Colex Insulation Sleeves & Sheets

 

 Description
The polyethylene foam insulation sleeve and sheets are able to be applied on extreme low temperature, which is the excellent choice of building materials.

COLEX Foam is made from polyethylene, cross-linkage agent and foaming agent in high temperature and pressure. The closed cell foam structure renders it resilient and does not absorb water. The structure of COLEX Foam is chemical bond and each micro foam cell is strictly bonded. Because of this strong chemical bond, our foam insulation productions have contained good physical properties, such as flexible, compressible and chemical resistance against acid & alkali. This foam production also impacts absorbing and thus can protect objects and personnel.

Even under the pure oxygen or in utmost low temperature (-196°C) for a long time, the chemical bond of COLEX Foam will not be degraded. It is suitable in all situation for insulation in a temperature range between 80°C and -196°C. COLEX Foam has the excellent character of floating ability on the water. Even thrust by sharp material, it will not reduce its floating strength. It is therefore very suitable for applying on the vessel and floating material.

Major Use:

  1. Construction insulation: Liquid Nitrogen pipelines and equipment, Liquid Ammonia pipelines and equipment, Liquid Ammonia refrigeration system, brine water pipelines of plant, raw material pipelines, and equipment of refinery and petrochemical plant, storage tanks.
  2. Air Conditioning insulation: chilling water pipelines, chillers, and ducts of air conditioner, etc.
  3. Building improvements: solar water heater insulation, cold and hot water pipeline insulation, corrugated steel
  4. Sound Isolation and Absorption: Engine room, engines, delivery and drainage pipelines
  5. Others: package, fishery, agriculture, toys, sports equipment, etc.

Easy Application:
COLEX foam material can be shaped by cutting, trimming, compression molding, and gluing. It can be stuck on every kind of metal surface by an adhesive.
