
Florex Insulation Cradles
Principle

In general, for the insulation of carbon steel pipeline below room temperature, such as chilling water pipe, brine water pipe, raw material delivery pipe, ...etc., wood blocks or polyurethane foam are widely taken as their insulation cradles. However, due to their rigidity, it is hard for them to suit the tolerance of carbon steel pipe from different makers and will cause gap between pipe wall and cradles, or even can't install the pipe in cradle completely. It is the reason to cause failure in cold insulation and what's more, and will cause water condensation at support point, too. It not only wastes energy, but also results in severe corrosion problem. |
Florex Foam

Florex Foam is a new and excellent insulation material, which has never been found in insulation field before. This product is polyethylene foam, with cross-linking chemical bond and close-cell structure entirely; therefore, even though it is as hard as wood, it still has a little flexibility. Moreover, it exists very low thermal conductivity and water absorption, and has the excellent resistance against moisture diffusion, chemical, and weather. |
Florex Cradles

Florex Cradle is made from Florex Foam, and with the excellent characters, that is why it is used and designed for cryogenic piping support purpose. Having the feathure of little flexibility, it can easily overcome the problem of tolerance from different makers' carbon steel pipes to hold and support them closely. Florex Cradle can really reach the efficiency of cold insulation without gap left perfectly and the problem like water condensation and corrosion will never occur again. |
