    Colex Insulation Sleeves & Sheets

    Introduction

COLEX foam is made from polyethylene, cross-linkage agent and foaming agent in high temperature and pressure.  The structure of COLEX foam is bonded by chemical bond; each micro foam cell is strictly bonded.  Because of the very strong chemical bond, COLEX foam has very good physical properties, such as flexibility, chemical resistance, strike resisting and water unabsorbed.  Even under the pure oxygen or in utmost low temperature (-196°C) for a long time, the chemical bond of COLEX foam will not be degraded.  It is suitable in all situation for insulation in a temperature range between 100°C and -200°C.

COLEX foam has the excellent character of floating ability on water.  Even thrust by sharp material, it will not reduce its floating strength.  It is therefore very suitable for applying on vessel and floating material.

 

 

Major Use

1. Engineering Insulation : Liquid Nitrogen pipes and equipments, Ammonia

    refrigeration system, storage tanks, Brine water pipes of plant, raw  

    material pipes and equipments of refinery and petrochemical plant.

2. Air condition Insulation : chilling water pipes, chillers, and ducts of air

    conditioner, etc....

3. Building Insulation : hot-water pipes, roof

4. Sound Isolation : Engine room, and delivery pipes.

5. Others : package, fishery, agriculture, toy, sport equipment, etc....

 

 

Easy Application

COLEX foam can be easily

processed by cut, chop and heat 

pressure to all kind of form, as you

need, It is also easy to be stuck 

on metal surface with glue.
